Sheet Metal Bending Order Table In Creo Drawing

       In the Sheet metal, Bending operation is most important. Die and Punch are used in bending operation. When we performed the operation of bending on large sheet metal, then we need to taking care of correct sequence of bending to ease of handling and to avoid disturbance.
On the large operation of bending, there are so many bends on outer side and inner side of sheet.
To avoid interference between sheet and tool, outside bend should be bend first.

Here we are going to learn the bending order of sheet metal during drafting in PTC Creo software.

First you need to create the model of Sheet Metal by using creo.
The model required few number of bending operations.

Download the PDF file of Drafting from below.

Follow the steps given below.

1. Bend > bend order >






2. Add sequence > Sequence 1 >

3. (In CAD model) Select all outer bends from your sheet metal model

4. Add sequence > Sequence 2 >

5. (In CAD model) Select all inner bends from your sheet metal model > OK


6. Import into drafting > Show modal annotations > Show the modal notes > Apply > OK








Now you can see the bending sequence table.
